ABOUT US

In our lab, we aim to develop and apply statistical and network-based tools and bioinformatic approaches to advance genomic medicine. Our broad interests include integrative omics, complex disease subtyping, and in silico drug discovery. Our research projects typically harness multi-omic data to identify the (i) molecular markers of disease heterogeneity, (ii) drivers of disease progression, and (iii) therapeutic targets and drug repurposing candidates for complex chronic diseases such as asthma and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). We are a part of the Channing Division of Network Medicine, a highly interdisciplinary and collaborative research division that is home to multiple epidemiological cohorts with diligently collected phenotypic and genomic data.

LAB NEWS

May 2024 Arda will be leading a tutorial session at the Greater Lakes Bioinformatics Conference (GLBIO 2024) in Pittsburgh, PA, about building customized workflows for the interactive visualization of large-scale biological networks. Find out more at the GLBIO 2024 website.
